I was amazed at how people in rural Crete can just head out into nature and identify "horta", wild #greens - as many as 40 different types. Later, Vangelio made delicious Kalitsounia : small pies filled with these super healthy wild herbs. Next time you go for a walk in the park, have an eye out, you might be stepping on wild fenugreek, orrel, hartwort, chicory, wild carrot, nettle, mallow, borage, chickweed or parsley! Even clover is delicious to add to a #salad : its sourness can replace lemon juice. A bit of knowledge will add spice to your life.
