Hollywood Forever Cemetery, CA. With the drought in full swing, focus has been put on water use in the big cities. It turns out that in Los Angeles, 60 percent of the water is used for landscaping. The most obvious use, or some might say abuse, of water to keep turf green is by cemeteries and golf courses. The Hollywood Forever Cemetery said they have made effort to conserve, but they are also contractually bound to keep their grounds green forever. Some may recognize the unique grave marker of Johnny Ramone of the Ramones fame.
