The clothing of thousands of victims are piled on pews inside the Nyamata Church near Bugesera, Rwanda. During the genocide thousands took refuge in the church but were massacred along with tens of thousands in the surrounding area. This April, Rwanda will observe the 20th anniversary of the genocide. In the space of 100 days in 1994, an estimated 800,000 Rwandans were killed, 200,000 were raped and two million fled the country.
