The mother was not happy about having her photo taken, so I slipped a small camera through a narrowly opened window. A few moments later, the father who had been watching from a distant location flew into the window hoping to scare me off. And he did! The fledgling is getting ready to fly and should be airborne in the next few weeks. #hawk #redtailhawk #newyork #wildlife #bird #urban @thephotosociety
