Cortlandt Alley is the most beautiful of #manhattan's few remaining #backalleys.Its the #archetypal image of a #Newyorkalley, #narrow, #dark,#secluded and bordered by decaying loading docks,#rustingfireescapes, and #graffited brick walls. This alley dating back to #1817 is home of #NewYork'ssmallestmuseum,called simply #Museum, #MMuseumm.com. It is built in a #freightelevator.
