Photo by @chamiltonjames A deer fly attempts a landing on a giant otter's head. Male deer flies hold the otters heads as territory and fight over them - which must be difficult as the otters spend much of their time underwater. Giant otters find the flies very irritating and regularly grab them and eat them. This shot was taken in Manu National Park in Peru.
