David Alan Harvey. Rio de Janeiro, #Brazil. Late cloud cover softens an unusually quiet #Ipanema Beach. After almost three years of shooting all over #Rio I just cannot help but come often to Ipanema and #Copacabana beaches. The Rio #beach scene is the proverbial melting pot for the myriad of cultures within a culture. The beaches are for everyone. And everyone, regardless of social class, feels at home on the sands of one of the world's most #beautiful cities. My photo essay on Rio was in the Oct 2012 issue of #NatGeo.
