Don’t get me wrong, I like simplicity, and my mother drove into my head growing up that white dinnerware showcases food the best (which I agree with only partially), but I also like things that show personality, has a story, a uniqueness, that compliments and complements the dining experience, even if it’s a bowl of rice. I understand dinnerware should be practical given its daily use, but they should also make you feel good as you use them, give a sense of delight.
