Alf is pumpkin obsessed at the moment, so we told him that Peppa and George had convicted him to a Halloween party at their house. I genuinely don't think he's ever been more excited. 🎃

We took the train to Southampton and stayed overnight so we could spend the day Paulton's Park AKA Peppa Pig World and the whole place was covered from top to bottom in pumpkins! 🎃🧡 I've never seen anything like it! It was amazing. Felt like we were in America!

We arrived bang on opening and it was a great time to get there as there were no queues. So the very first thing we did was to go and see the real life Peppa and George - and George was dressed as a pumpkin!! Alf couldn't believe it and kept cuddling him! He genuinely didn't pay attention to Peppa at all 🙊

Then I thought we'd tackle all the rides - as we came in summer but the queues were so big we didn't do much! It started off well - Alf and I went on a boat ride - and then Ada woke up so nana and Alfie went on grandpa pigs train whilst we watched on!

But then... Alf discovered the soft play and didn't want to leave. It is actually a really cool softplay! The ball section was a huge hit, Alf was in there for an hour as nana and I took turns playing with him and Ada.

By the time we got out we had just enough time to pop into Peppa Pig's house - Alf did not want to leave here - but we had to get our taxi back to Southampton so we could get into London.

Honestly, walking around the park is just so magical - Alf knows all the characters and points them out and all the pumpkins made it even better. We might not have done as many rides as I hoped - but that's called going out with a toddler. We love in their worlds!

But we had two sleeping babies on the train as we headed nack to London so I'd say that's the sign of a successful trip out!

If you're looking for half term inspo , I'd fully recommend Peppa Pig World at Halloween! We already can't wait to come back again!

Oh and their little outfits are from @regattaoutdoors x Peppa Pig Collab, they sent us some bits for our trip! Their stuff is sooo cute. Alf's wellies were an especially big hit! And even cooler - they sent nana and I coats too! AD GIFT 🤩
