She died last week and I want to reiterate every single thing Nick said about this incredible woman: "Our family said goodbye to Grandmother Sally on Thursday. She was 93, and passed quietly surrounded by her family and loved ones in the same apartment that she raised three generations of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Even in grief, we feel incredibly blessed. Blessed that she lived life by example and to its fullest. Blessed that I got so much time with her. How lucky that my children surrounded her in her final moments, and they could see unconditional love in its most pure form? The last photo is of her and @derekblasberg.
