#MagnumBookClub: Knit Club by Carolyn Drake (@drakeycake) 📖

Browsing the Magnum Photos library in London, Retail & Publications Manager @chilli.power picks up a copy of Knit Club, Carolyn Drake’s strange and defiant collaboration with a group of Women friends in Water Valley, a small Mississippi town. The photobook, published by @tbwbooks in 2020, includes a semifictional essay by Rebecca Bengal (@_true_stories_).

Drake’s photographs from Knit Club are on show as part of the group exhibition Close Enough at @hangar.photoartcenter in Brussels, Belgium, until December 16.
