Spend enough time in the natural world and you’ll find as you slow down & the busyness of life fades, details & depth start to emerge in small ways, colors of granite, patterns of tree bark, maybe the whisper of wind sweeping through valleys.
When diving into Italian culture, you can find these parallels between the landscape & the lifestyle… better flavor in simple foods served fresh from local farms if you take the time to notice it. An experience I was lucky enough to have in 2015 on a shoot while visiting the shores of Lago Di Braies on a particularly still morning.
