My world of life and death is totally silent and rhythmic. Inspired by the Mexican tree of life, I decided to express these two worlds of polar opposites… Observing the many small square canvases, as if through a microscope, coexisting life forms emerge from within the cells. Old fabrics and embroideries tangled with memories, I let mold devour the living cells. The geometric threads are like words that convey death.
