This is just a snapshot of some of the things I’ve been through. In 11 years of doing this I’ve never shared so much of my personal life as this post. I’m a single Mom now & it’s a struggle to keep up which is the reason for the lack of posts. It’s been too difficult to push through the depression & anxiety to just come on here & pretend everything is ok. I got creators block & found myself isolating in shut down mode. I’m sharing this not for sympathy but with humility because too often many of you have your own struggles and may look at your favorite creators like their lives are great! The truth is, just about every creator I know is suffering something behind the screen especially burnout. You are not alone and it’s ok to not be ok all the time. I’m trying to get back on my feet and post consistently again especially as all the pets are getting older. I just wanted to take this opportunity to be transparent about my absence instead of just jumping back into a regular posting schedule. Too many times people think they’re suffering alone and others have it great. Well, I want to be part of breaking that stigma and I hope other creators will open up and share their struggles too.
I know the video goes fast so you may have to watch a couple times to read it all. I could only fit so much in the music frame limit.
