In Jeju Island, South Korea, overtourism, development projects and naval bases are destroying the precious ecosystem that the Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins call home. To protect this keystone species and ensure their waters stay safe, the grassroots group Hot Pink Dolphins uses community action, color and a little quirkiness to spread the message that a threat to dolphins is a threat to us.
