Indigo, my god-sister and the sister of my soul, got married...and words are hard to find for the feelings we were swimming in on this day. Watching someone you’ve loved your whole life complete her heart is quite a special feeling. Christoph, what a magnificent addition you are to the family. I’m so grateful to this entire family with whom I have shared so much.

On this day my Mom gave a speech, which was an Apache wedding speech. Apaches are a tribe from the Southwest, of what is now the US. Part of that speech guides;

“Remember to focus on what is right between you, not only the part which seems wrong. In this way, you can ride out the storms when clouds hide the face of the sun in your lives. Remembering that if you lose sight of it, for a moment, the sun is still there.”
