"do you wish you had your old body back?" Someone asked me this week as I went through my old modelling photos.

And when I think of everything I've done and enjoyed since that period of my life, the honest answer is now.

That "old" body never grew a baby. Never fed a baby. It blows my mind that every joyful moment I get to spend with Alf and Ada, is thanks to my body. 

That "old" body never enjoyed good food or drink. When I think of the memories I wouldn't have to look like that I think of eating pasta in Venice with my sister before her wedding. Of that trip I took to Marbella - my first time away from Alfie after a year and a half - with my two best friends where we drank the bar dry. The dates Tommy and I went on. The food and drink I explored when I travelled the world alone and with Char - like the lobster pizza I got to eat whilst sitting in a restaurant in Holbox Island in Mexico.

And more than that, the girl in that "old" body wasn't that healthy. She wasn't thriving, she felt unlovable, and she used to Google "how to be confident" 

So no, I don't want to have my old body back, because that would be a body without the memories of my family, the fun of travelling the world with friends. The late nights, the delicious cuisines.... 

Because when I look back on life, those are the things I'll remember. I won't celebrate the size of my clothes or how much I weighed. 🤍

And I guess a good body is perceived by how attractive it is for others to look. Whereas now I have a body that is a 'good body' because it's healthy and I love to live in it. 🫶
