Pitti Uomo in Florence set the stage for @EliRussellLinnetz’s first ever @erl__________ runway presentation, in a green screen-clad venue. “For me, every collection is a mini-movie,” Linnetz told Vogue ahead of the show. This season’s movie, he explained, takes place in 2176 at a Florence that has been submerged under water; a group of surfers from Russell’s native California, who came for the waves, of course, decided instead to play dress-up and sneak into a masquerade ball.
