For the spring 2024 @Fendi menswear collection, Silvia Venturini Fendi welcomed guests into the Italian behemoth’s new factory in the Tuscan town of Bagno a Ripoli—a quick jaunt for guests attending the Pitti Uomo fair in Florence. Amid the 125 employees currently working inside, the designer showcased a collection inspired in, what else, workwear. Aprons in leather and canvas figured heavily in her lineup, as did relaxed suiting creatively embellished with a design made from the basting stitches that usually denote alterations on clothes, or measuring tapes draped around the neck casually like scarves. Meanwhile, tanks and shirts in halter-neck silhouettes continued to make their case as the season’s defining look.
