Hello everyone, this is Samantha Dion Baker @sdionbakerdesign. I am an artist and author from Brooklyn, NY, and I am a long-time fan of all Sakura of America products. I use so many various Sakura tools in my own work as well as using them in all my workshops. I was so happy when they asked me to guest post (for the third time!) this week. For my posts I decided to create a series of small sketchbook pages using primarily my Koi paints (the tubes as well as my beloved Field Sketch Box), along with Micron pens, a white Gelly Roll, and even a Glaze pen in black. As you will see, the focus of these pages is nature, plus some other random things that have occupied my recent days. In my books “Draw Your Day” and “Draw Your World”, I talk often about how being inspired by the world around you can lead to so many various moments. It is also so nice to just let the imagination run free, and create patterns that fill a page.
