Next weekend, I’m teaming up with my dear friend @stefano_secchi and @rezdoranyc on this epic sandwich for Father’s Day weekend (FRI 6/16-SUN 6/18) here at @dominiqueanselworkshop in Flatiron. We’re calling it: My Dad, The Hero - a 5-hour slow-braised oxtail sandwich (think: an Italian sloppy Joe, slow-cooked with confit tomato, garlic, bay leaf, and thyme), with creamy Parmesan fonduta and salsa verde, all served up on our homemade confit garlic rosemary ciabatta bread. To wash it all down, a Kiddo “Negroni” (non-alcoholic), with Lyre’s Italian orange, lemon and orange juice, rosemary, and club soda (though it’s highly debated if we should use Pellegrino🇮🇹 or Perrier 🇫🇷). 🤣 Stefano and I are both proud dads to 2 little ones, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Father’s Day weekend and welcoming you to the Workshop.
