弓庭は完璧さよりも歪みを好み、その中に味わいを見出します。今回カフェノマの２人が、イラストレーター、モナ・ヨハンソンの描いた歪んだ絵について語り合いました。
この歪みは、イラストだけでなく、建物や器などのあらゆる物に対する彼女の嗜好なんだとか...。

味わいって何？よく出てくるけど、味があるとか、味わいとか。

（弓庭）
たぶんきれいなものを、ちょっと崩したときにできる隙(すき)のようなものかな、予定調和じゃないような。

（刈込）
きれい過ぎるとよろしくないと。

（弓庭）
面白くない。個性はないかなって。同じものがハンコを押したように何個でもできるんだろうなって。

（刈込）
アート、建物、あと器もそうだけどちょっと歪んでるのが好きだよね。

（弓庭）
なんだろうね。なんで歪んでるのがかわいいんだろう。素朴な感じがするのか、緊張感が和らぐのか。

Nobuka finds more charm in imperfections than in perfection, seeing a certain depth in them. This time, we have discussed a distorted drawing by illustrator Mona Johansson. This taste for distortion seems to extend beyond illustrations to all things, including buildings and tableware...

What do you mean by "depth" or "flavor"? I often hear about things having "flavor" or "taste".

(Nobuka)
Perhaps it's something like the gap that occurs when something beautiful is slightly distorted, something that isn't predictable.

(Karikomi)
So it's not good if it's too perfect?

(Nobuka)
It's not interesting. I guess it lacks personality. It feels like the same thing could be replicated endlessly.

(Karikomi)
You like art, buildings, and even tableware that's a bit distorted, don't you?

(Nobuka)
I wonder why. Why are distorted things cute? Do they feel rustic, or do they alleviate tension?
