お菓子が載るコースター

カフェノマのオリジナル木製コースター。カタチの異なる３タイプに、それぞれチェリーとウォールナットの２種類を展開しています。なぜわざわざオリジナルのコースターを作ったのか。今回はそんなお話をしてみたいと思います。

喫茶店でコーヒーを注文するとでてくるカップ＆ソーサー。この組み合わせ、実は個人的にあまり馴染めないのです...　なんだか商談でも始まりそうな畏まった印象があり、普段からソーサーを使うことがほとんどありません。木製コースターを集めるようになったのはそんな理由から。木の温かみが加わるので磁器製のカップ＆ソーサーに比べ、テーブルも優しい雰囲気になりますよね。

そんななか、そういえばカフェノマのカップに合うコースターがないことに気づきます。素朴でシンプルなカップに合うコースター。オリジナルを製作するに至った理由がこれです。

オリジナル木製コースターには、どれも裏面にオリジナルマークが施され、カフェノマのこだわりを感じていただけると思います。それぞれの特徴は下記のとおり。

シンプルで素朴な丸形コースター。横から見ると逆台形の形状がすっきりした印象を与えてくれます。

リッド型コースター。オリジナルカップにぴったりフィット。スタッキングも可能です。

アシンメトリーコースター。独特の丸みを帯びた形状が特徴で、コーヒーに乾き菓子を添えたり、小さな木皿として使ったり、アイデア次第で楽しみ方が広がります。

introducing cafenoma's original wooden coasters, designed for serving sweets.
cafenoma offers a unique selection of wooden coasters, available in three different shapes and crafted from two types of wood: cherry and walnut.
But why did we decide to create our own original coasters? Allow us to share the story behind it.

When ordering coffee at a cafe, it usually comes in a cup and saucer set. However, this combination has never quite resonated with me personally. The formal atmosphere it creates feels more suited to a business negotiation than a casual setting, which is why I hardly ever use saucers. This led me to start collecting wooden coasters instead, which add warmth to the table and create a more inviting atmosphere compared to porcelain cup and saucer sets.

It was then that I realized cafenoma didn't have its own coasters that matched our simple and rustic cups. That's when the idea of creating our own original coasters was born.

Each original wooden coaster is adorned with cafenoma's signature mark on the back, showcasing our commitment to quality.
