Thursday was a dinner at the Italian embassy to honour him. Friday was his great talk with @pranobaileybond followed by a sold out screening of ‘Suspiria’ and yesterday I got to see ‘Profondo Rosso’ (Deep Red) and ‘Tenebre’ on the big screen and also interview the maestro himself on the stage before the latter. As a fan of Dario since I was a teen, I can’t tell you what a pleasure it is to tell an artist you admire what they mean to you. Thanks to everyone who came and if you get a chance to see any films in the rest of the season, I can’t say enough great things about the @cinecittastudios restorations. They are just glorious and to see these films in Italian is a long overdue (for UK audience) delight.
