Ran into @paulbradshaw_snc98 who had the ever valuable magazine @straightnochaser_mag (and nice to see they had the #japanesejazz insert featuring yours truly displayed in the exhibition, picture by @meisafujishiro ). There was apparently a private showing from 6:00 and it was almost comical that we were booted out, me thinking, “…but I’m one of the OGs!” Whatevs, no hard feelings. My performance is coming up Saturday 4/22 at Camden’s The Forge; groovy girl @roberta_cutolo will be spinning (and omg what a group of great musicians I have playing with me, thank you @edjonessax for hooking me up!!!) — hope to see some of my London friends there!
