This one was even better than the first, as Sexton and Lawrence both dominated their respective races, and both improved their chances to win titles. Their timing was also good, as the event was held at Atlanta Motor Speedway, just down the road from Honda’s Powersports headquarters, with scores of Honda associates in attendance, along with top management. //MotoGP Report// LCR Team rider Alex Rins @alexrins put in a perfect performance to achieve his first win aboard the Honda RC213V at the Grand Prix of the Americas this weekend. Starting from the second spot of the grid and with Saturday's Sprint podium in his pocket, Rins made a perfect start, pushed and fought unceasingly for the first position with Pecco Bagnaia, and after a mistake from Bagnaia, the LCR rider led until the checkered flag, opening a gap and imposing a tremendous pace. //Enduro Report// JCR Honda's Rya Surratt @ryansurratt_77 claimed the championship in AMA District 37's five-round hare and hound series--a championship within the district's overall Desert Series, which includes hare and hound, sprint enduro and desert scrambles events. Surratt finished third in Ridgecrest, California, this weekend aboard his CRF450RX, and he was followed by his teammate Preston Campbell @prestoncampbell300 aboard his CRF450X. //GNCC Report// At the fifth round of the Grand National Cross Country Series, Phoenix Racing Honda's Ruy Barbosa @ruy14 tallied his second XC2 class win of the year. Riding a CRF250RX, Barbosa finished more than a minute ahead of the second-place competitor at Moree's Sportsman's Preserve in Society Hill, South Carolina.
