Just a few short weeks each year, Fraises des Bois come into season. Tiny wild woodland strawberries are overnighted to us from Malaga, Spain, each tasting like bursts of fragrant and sweet strawberry candy. So we make our Fraises des Bois Pavlovas, pillowy soft vanilla meringue piled high with these rare berries, mascarpone cream, strawberry jam, and a dusting of confectioners sugar to finish. Available at @dominiqueanselworkshop in Flatiron this weekend only, today through Sunday (a new batch just released for online preorder at DominiqueAnselWorkshop.com for Sunday pick-up too). 🍓
