浅見姫香さんのインスタグラム写真 - (浅見姫香Instagram)「I went to the Edo Nyanko (Cat) Ukiyo-e exhibition. Utagawa Kuniyoshi loves cats so much that he draws cats in his self-portraits. It seems that he had more than a dozen cats, and even when he was painting, there were many cats in his room and around Kuniyoshi, so it was difficult for his pupils. In this exhibition, paintings drawn by Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Kunisada, and Utagawa Yoshifuji are also on display. Kuniyoshi is good at Kabuki paintings. The cover art of "Oborodzuki Neko no Sōshi" from the late Edo period is painted in vivid colors. In addition, there are cats dressed as monster cats and Enma the Great. There was also a Nitta cat with a pink ribbon around its neck and a soft expression drawn by four generations of feudal lords. Kuniyoshi really loved cats. If I could meet Mr. Kuniyoshi, I would like to watch him painting while surrounded by his cat. 「江戸にゃんこ浮世絵展」へ。歌川国芳は、自画像に猫を描く程、大の猫好き。十数匹の猫を飼っていたらしく、絵を描いている時でも、部屋や国芳の周りには猫が沢山居たので、彼の弟子達は大変だったのだそう。今回の展示会では、国芳をはじめ、歌川国貞や歌川芳藤などが描いた絵も展示されてあります。国芳は、歌舞伎絵が得意なので、猫の百面相を描いたり。紋付袴を着ている猫だったり。江戸後期にあった、「朧月(おぼろづき)猫の草紙」の袋絵は、鮮やかな色で描かれています。まさに、今で言う“ジャケ買い”をしてしまいそうになります。他には、化け猫や閻魔大王に扮している猫もいたり。殿様四代にわたって描いた、ピンクのリボンを首に巻いて表情の柔らかい墨絵の新田猫もいました。全部、浮世絵の中にいる猫だけれど、猫の喜怒哀楽で、掴みどころの無い性質を感じました。国芳は本当に猫が大好きだったんだなぁ。もしも、国芳さんに会えるなら、猫を囲み愛でながら、彼が絵を描いている姿を眺めていたい。 🐈 #ひめかのさんぽ #himekasstroll #太田美術館 #浮世絵 #歌川国芳」4月3日 20時51分
