I couldn’t tell what it was at first, but it seemed so shallow. Was it the players personality, was it the lack of screen play ? Was it the directors unsettling way of switching from one player to another without going in depth ? I understand they wanted to do the #drivetosurvive of tennis, but there is a lack of talent/effort here. So now we are in the second week of the AO tennis and none, NONE of their featured players has survived. Talking about having the “nose” for it. I guess this is also what makes journalism : the producer’s insight. Obviously they dont really have a clear vision of today’s tennis 🎾 The only solution is to spend the money ( because this is what the american digital platforms have, the dough : ) on Rafa, Novak, Iga,Naomi et al, and rewrite it all from the start.
