ヘイゼル・フィンドレーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ヘイゼル・フィンドレーInstagram)「So much to share about this expedition but I’ll start off by talking about the grand finale: climbing Ingmikortilaq, which at around 1200 meters is one of the world’s biggest sea cliffs and unclimbed walls. Unfortunately the Gneiss rock wasn’t the best quality and we got pretty scared navigating the loose rock as a big team. We started off with 4 of us plus film crew and in the end Alex and I climbed to the summit as a pair. To say it was a big adventure is a huge understatement. It was definitely more of a psychological chalenge than physical and I’d probably give it an overall grade of E6 or 5.11 R X. Although it was just Alex and I on the final part of the wall the ascent was made possible by the whole team: @mikeylikesrocks @aldokane @pablo_durana who put days of effort on the wall. We also placed two temperature sensors on the wall which climate scientists will use to study changes in permafrost. This project was lead by science superwoman @heidisevestre with help from @aadarmi I’ll share more details soon but for now I’ll be enjoying my first shower and real meal in 6 weeks.
