『THE ULTIMATE OTHER』は、(UN)KEEPALLの変遷を追うドキュメンタリーである。

プロジェクトの切掛となった日本の民間伝承における「他者」の概念に受けた作家のインスピレーションから、コロナ禍初動二年において世界各地で強行された「Oni」のスクリーニング、その同時期に湧起った反エイジアンヘイトの潮流への接続までを辿る。

The Ultimate Other is a documentary following the making of the project:

from its genesis in the inspiration YAMAN drew from images of ‘otherness’ in Japanese folklore, through visual projection of Oni across multiple locations during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, to its relationship to the wave of anti-Asian hate which rose sharply, fuelled by racial tensions, which arose during the period.
