詩歩さんのインスタグラム写真 - (詩歩Instagram)「#Tojinbo is one of the most famous scenic spots in Fukui, but there is another place like this! About 30 minutes to the west from Tojinbo, Hokojima-Island appears along the Echizen Coast. Like Tojinbo, Hokojima is a columnar joint, which is a rare form of terrain. It was formed when magma cooled and solidified during an eruption thousands of years ago. It's about 50m high and when you look up it's awe-inspiring! There is a shrine of Fudo Myoo statue at the top of the island and you can climb it, but we gave up because of strong wind and rain on the day we visited...
