It has the tallest five-storey pagoda in Japan and the biggest Buddha in Japan*, all of which are of extraordinary size, but the most amazing thing is the wall of the Kondo (main hall) where the Buddha sits. Surprisingly, there are soooo many small Buddhas sitting on the ceiling!!! The number of Buddhas is 1,281 😳😳😳 Can you feel how amazing it is when you compare it to my height?
