However, amongst those missing, there are still cases where the bereaved families have not submitted a death report, shrouding the actual death count. And on March 11th 2021, we have reached the 10 year mark, where so many of us had helped and connected with each other on that ill-fated day, we think some are already forgetting that past. In the eyes of elders, no image of the future is reflected, just a blind acceptance. In the minds of the youth, a sense of running away, whilst turning their backs to history. We wonder when we have lost sight to simply being able hold our hands, have a sense of direction, or just live like a human being. We dedicate this, with director Toshi Shioya who has poured all of his body and soul into the reconstruction and development of the disaster area, to all who have passed away in the Great East Japan Earthquake. To all of their bereaved families, To all who have been making an effort to rebuild not just then, but until today. To those who have not given up. To those who still search for their loved ones.
