Photo by @danwintersphoto / On February 18, 2021, at 20:56 UTC, the Perseverance rover successfully landed on the surface of Mars after a 203-day, 11-hour journey. I had the good fortune of photographing the previous Mars rover, Curiosity, at JPL, in Pasadena, California. Curiosity has been on Mars for 74,000 hours and is still transmitting data. Follow me @danwintersphoto as I document NASA's Artemis program for @ナショナルジオグラフィック over the next four years.
