I am still mesmerised by the skill needed to develop just one piece.    Ever since I first came to Indonesia in 2003 and went to the island of Sumba, famous for its hand loomed natural dyed Ikats I have been in love with them and their process.   As part of rebeccamanners.com and the Art of Slow we are excited to be introducing these stunning works of art. Sourced and curated artisanal interiors bought directly from local communities with 20% of the proceeds going back to the village.   Each piece is One of A kind taking 52 steps to finish and up to 6 months to make each with a historical story to tell.
