According to the manuscript of Ikenobo, narcissus is the top-grade flower during winter. Therefore, narcissus cannot be arranged together with other plants during winter. However, after the day “Risshun”, there will be no problem to arrange narcissus with other plants. The second picture is the 37th drawing in “Soka-hyakki” which is the book published around 200 years ago and established the basic form of “Shoka”.
