Marmot Club Ambassador @benkitchingphotography and company layout their go-to snack prep for the trail. It's easy to get bogged down with what to pack for a day outside all the while trying to keep it healthy.
Here's his recipe for trail fruit snacks!
1 cup fruit
1/4 cup veggies
1/4-1/2 cup real fruit juice
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp gelatin
Blend the fruit, veggies, and juice first. Then, add a squeeze of honey. Once blended, transfer to a saucepan and whisk in gelatin. Place on medium heat until smooth. DO NOT ALLOW IT TO BOIL! Finally, pour your mix into silicone molds and place in the fridge for at least two hours.
