1月7日は、七草粥を。
無病息災を願い、またお正月の祝膳で弱った胃を休めるために、いただきます。

湯気が立つようなあつあつの状態が一番美味しいお粥は、伊賀焼のスープボウルで。
耐熱調理器具の産地として有名な伊賀焼でできたボウルは、直火にかけることができ、電子レンジやオーブンでも使えるのです。

ぽってりとした土の風合いと一人分のちょうどいい大きさが、新年の慌ただしい幕開けに、ほっと一息与えてくれる気がします。

On January 7th, we eat Nanakusa porridge.
We eat it to wish for good health and to rest our stomachs that have been weakened by the New Year's celebrations.
The porridge tastes best when it is hot and steamy, and is served in Iga-yaki soup bowls.
Iga-yaki is famous for its heat-resistant cookware, and the bowls can be used over an open flame, in a microwave oven, or in the oven.
The chubby texture of the clay and the perfect size for one person will give you a breath of fresh air at the beginning of a hectic new year.
