Currently Estancia Viamonte has around 6,000 sheep used for wool work. The ranch was founded in 1902 by the sons of Reverend Thomas Bridges, the region’s first European settler. I took this photo for my story about the "spinners at the end of the world," for which I documented the whole process of local textile creation, from the work in the field to the confection of the final piece.
