Photo by Luján Agusti @lujanag / Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. A field worker herds a group of sheep at Estancia Viamonte. Currently Estancia Viamonte has around 6,000 sheep used for wool work. The ranch was founded in 1902 by the sons of Reverend Thomas Bridges, the region’s first European settler. I took this photo for my story about the "spinners at the end of the world," for which I documented the whole process of local textile creation, from the work in the field to the confection of the final piece. Follow me at @lujanag to learn more about my life and work in the southern island of Tierra del Fuego.
