Liverpool-born Chila Kumari Singh Burman makes paintings, prints, etchings, sculptures and film works inspired by her Indian heritage. From bindis to ice cream cornettos, she reworks and weaves together her own material and found images from art and popular culture to deconstruct stereotypes and propose radical new visions of South Asian and British identities.
