The project features class portraits of over 76,000 year 3 students, covering every borough in the city.⁣ ⁣⁣The artist considered year 3 age (between 7 and 8 years old) to be a key milestone in a child’s development and their sense of identity. It’s a time for them to develop confidence in all areas of life, to understand more about their place in a changing world and to think about what their future might be like.
