東急線沿線にある花と緑の専門店のご紹介です。
中目黒駅から徒歩10分、駒沢通り沿いにある「Ex.Flower Shop & Laboratory NAKAMEGURO ( @exflowershop ）」。 1階にブルーボトルコーヒーが入ったビルの3Fです。
お花屋さんが3階にあるのも珍しく、階段を登っていくと、途中途中にグリーンが置いてあり気分が高まってきます。
自然光が入り込んだデザイン性の高い店内はとても明るく開放的な雰囲気です。

お店の名前「ex.flower shop & laboratory」の由来は、「experiment=試行」と「experience=経験」。これは、花屋としてあるべき姿を模索し続けること、また訪れた方々にいろいろな体験をしてもらいたいという想いが背景にあるとのことです。
実際店舗ではブーケ・アレンジメントのワークショップを行っており、参加者は花の手触り、匂い、彩りなどを感じることで花と緑の魅力にあらたに気づかせてくれそうです。

Ex. Flower Shop & Laboratory is located a 10 minute walk away from Nakameguro Station when you walk along Komazawa Street. You’ll find it on the 3rd floor of the same building that hosts Blue Bottle Coffee on the 1st floor.
While it’s rare for a flower shop to sit on the 3rd floor of a building in Japan, the exciting walk past the plants on your way up the stairs makes the climb worth it.
This stylish little shop is flooded with natural light for a wide open look and feel.

The name “ex. Flower shop & laboratory” is a nod at the “ex” in “experiment” and “experience”, built on this shop’s commitment to always “experiment” to find its best self, while creating a shopping “experience” that will bring customers back again and again.
This shop is also home to a flower bouquet/arranging workshop, allowing participants to realize the beauty of plants through touch, smell and color.
