For a couturier as furiously passionate about his work as @jgalliano, life away from the @Maison Margiela atelier couldn’t put a stop his productivity. Here, exclusively for Vogue, Galliano reveals a sumptuous couture-grade dress made by his hands at his home.

Inspired by Vogue’s September issue theme of #VogueHope, the dress seen here is composed of a tightly woven, light weight, off-white taffeta shirtdress with a billowing cape that took over 250 hours to produce.
