14年前、奈良市東部山間地、田原地区で撮影しカンヌでグランプリをいただいた『殯の森』は、美しい茶畑がもうひとつの主人公でした。

さて…担い手がおらず、あの美しい茶畑の風景が失われていたところに、有志が集まり手入れをしました！

来年ここになら国際映画祭主催でgrandVoyageアフリカと題して、皆さんに来ていただくまでに、あの里山を復活させたい！

そんな想いが集まって、成し遂げましたぁ〜半端ない達成感です^_^みんな、ありがとね✨

Filmed in the Tawara district in the mountains of eastern Nara City 14 years ago, The Mourning Forest later won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, and one of its main characters was this beautiful tea field.

But...without anyone to look after it, it looked like that beautiful tea field might be lost, so some of us volunteers came together and started taking care of it!

I want to revive this mountain by the time everyone comes for NIFF’s grandVoyage Africa next year!

It was with those kinds of thoughts that we all came together and made it happen! A real sense of accomplishment ^_^ Thanks, everyone ✨
