During the training days leading up to our 4 member debut, of course, I got to know the girls. But this was the year that I feel like I was able to know, grow, and bond with the girls deeper. We travelled across Japan for in-store shows for months, and spent everyday together. Since each show was so similar to the next, the four of us would always reflect and brainstorm ideas to better our performance when we got back to the hotel. We would spend hours just talking about the future and what we wanted to do. These chats we had in our hotel rooms are still, to this day, some of the most memorable conversations I’ll ever have. We had so much fun traveling and seeing new places, but this busy period particularly took a toll on our bodies and mentality. There were days where we would be together for 6+ hours, yet hadn’t had any small talk at all apart from discussing business. This was never a problem or an uncomfortable thing though. That assured me that we truly have a family like bond. We didn’t need to put on a mask to constantly entertain when with each other. We shared hours of uncontrollable laughter, hours of peaceful silence, and hours of conversations on literally any topic you could think of lol.
