I moved to Tokyo from California at 15 to join FAKY and spent that year training behind the scenes with the girls. There were times when I got frustrated and thought to myself if all my hard work would be paid off in the ways I always hoped for. I wanted all of you to meet me as soon as possible so we could release music. During that time I worked as hard as I could but still found myself feeling beat by my sudden new life and a never ending list of culture differences. When Keep Out was released I felt like I could finally take a deep breath. Not only was I so excited to hear my own voice as an official audio track, but you all were so welcoming to me. I worried about how me and my look would be received, being your typical American girl working in the Japanese industry (barely being able to speak Japanese too lol.)
