I had never seen these photos until yesterday. This is me, age 23, in Udine, Italy for a festival called ‘Euro Western’ where they showed ‘A Fistful Of Fingers’. This was also the last time I watched it all the way through with an audience. Here I am on a panel with the amazing Sergio Sollima, director of ‘The Big Gundown’, ‘Face To Face’ and ‘Violent City’, and also the great Bernardino Zapponi, writer of ‘Deep Red’, ‘Toby Dammit’, ‘Fellini Satyricon’ among others. I am totally out my depth here. Dear lord. Thanks to Sabrina Baracetti for sending the photos, a true blast from the past.
