When the inevitable happens you are not surprised, (“ah, fuck. I had a feeling that was going to happen”) more so frustrated with yourself that you went against what you felt at the time.⠀ ⠀ Where in your body do you feel it when you are making a decision that you know is not the right one, but it’s hard to explain why simply because you ‘just feel it’s not right’?⠀ ⠀ Working on my upcoming @SamanthaWillsFoundation Masterclasses I have been writing a section on intuition and how it relates specifically to business and branding.⠀ ⠀ So, how do we separate our mind chatter from our intuition?⠀ ⠀ ⏰TIME⠀ Intuition hits instantly. If we are paying attention, something within us knows.⠀ ⠀ vs⠀ ⠀ The mind chatter usually chimes in a few moments after & lists all the reasons why it’s a bad idea. (You can’t do it / you’re not good enough / everyone will think you’re a fool / you’re not qualified / no one cares etc)⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 🤍TONE⠀ Intuition is always delivered in a calm tone.⠀ ⠀ vs⠀ ⠀ Mind chatter is frantic and laced usually with anxiety.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 🧍🏼‍♀️BODY⠀ Intuition is FELT in the body (pay attention to how your body communicates with you and understanding that language).⠀ ⠀ vs ⠀ ⠀ Mind chatter is on a droning, draining and sporadic loop in the mind.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ I just wanted to share this in case anyone was in a world class brawl with their mind this weekend! (🙋🏼‍♀️me; most days…and nights!!) (It’s still an ongoing conscious shift to go from headspace to heartspace but I’m getting there…)⠀ ⠀ So wherever you might be reading this I hope you are having a beautiful weekend and please take a moment to check in with your body and hear what it is trying to tell you.
