There’s no escaping these messages at the moment and it can feel very overwhelming and piercingly heavy if you are feeling anything but happy or joyful.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Christmas time can be bittersweet for some people and can just be outright lonely for many and the December season only spotlights this even brighter.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Grief or trauma don’t take public holidays off, so if you are experiencing something painful right now I understand that Christmas cheer is the last thing you feel like being surrounded by (you actually probably want to pretend that Christmas is not actually even happening this year). I’ve been there before and I get it.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I just wanted to post this in case you needed to read it right now.
